What is an Arrangement View?

Arrangement View is a timeline-based workspace in digital audio workstations (DAWs) where audio and MIDI clips are arranged sequentially to form a complete song or composition. It allows producers and engineers to organize musical elements over time in a structured format.

In Arrangement View, tracks are displayed vertically while time moves from left to right along the timeline. Audio recordings, MIDI patterns, automation, and effects can be placed and edited along this timeline to build the full structure of a piece of music, including sections such as intros, verses, choruses, and bridges.

This view is commonly used for detailed editing, mixing, and final song arrangement. It provides precise control over timing, clip placement, and automation, making it an essential workspace for producing finished tracks in modern music production software.
