What is Brostep?

Brostep is a subgenre of dubstep known for its aggressive bass sounds, loud drops, and high-energy production style. The genre typically features distorted basslines, heavy synthesizers, and dramatic build-ups that lead into explosive drops. Brostep tracks often use complex sound design techniques to create growling, screeching, or wobbling bass sounds that dominate the mix, giving the music an intense and powerful character.
