What is Electronic Music?

Electronic music is a broad category of music created primarily using electronic instruments, digital technology, and sound synthesis. Instead of relying mainly on traditional acoustic instruments, electronic music uses tools such as synthesizers, drum machines, samplers, and computer software to generate and manipulate sound.

Electronic music often features programmed rhythms, synthesized melodies, and digitally designed sound textures. Producers can create a wide range of sounds by shaping electronic waveforms, applying audio effects, and layering multiple elements together within a composition.
