Microhouse is a minimal style of electronic dance music that combines elements of minimal techno and house music. The genre focuses on subtle rhythms, small sound details, and highly refined production rather than large melodic elements or dramatic drops.

Microhouse tracks typically run around 120–130 beats per minute and feature a steady four-on-the-floor kick drum pattern. Instead of big synth leads or vocals, the music emphasizes tiny sound fragments, short samples, and minimal melodic phrases that evolve gradually throughout the track.
