Bobby Ross Avila—Grammy‑winning producer, multi‑instrumentalist, and the creative force behind Usher’s high‑profile R&B Tour—has been keeping the stage alive both behind the console and on the floor. The tour, which called Birmingham’s Protective Stadium home on July 28‑29, 2026, saw Avila not only orchestrate the sound but also perform a featured solo every night.
Avila describes his role as part of a larger machine. "I’m one of many things that make it work, just one component," he told reporters.
