Gibson Announces 9,000-Square-Foot Garage Store in Las Vegas Strip
The Strip just got a new kind of stage.
Gibson has announced that its fourth Gibson Garage will open in 2027 at the Miracle Mile Shops on the Las Vegas Strip. The 9,000‑square‑foot retail and performance complex marks the brand’s first U.S. location outside Nashville, the first overseas location in London, and follows the recently unveiled Miami Garage.
The Garage concept blends a full‑line instrument showroom with live‑performance spaces, artist experiences, and a dedicated area for the company’s Custom Shop and Made‑to‑Measure programs. Visitors in Las Vegas will see the entire Gibson family of brands—Gibson, Epiphone, and Kramer—as well as the amplifier brands Mesa/Boogie, Maestro, and KRK. A highlight will be the Murphy Lab Collection Room, which showcases the company’s aging process for its light‑aged acoustic guitars.
"Las Vegas is one of the most exciting entertainment destinations in the world, and the Gibson Garage Las Vegas will be designed to meet that energy at full volume," said Anne Rohosy, interim CEO of Gibson. "This will be much more than a place to buy a guitar – it will be a place to play, discover, perform, connect and experience the Gibson legacy in a way that can only happen in Las Vegas. Building on what we’ve created in Nashville, London and Miami, Gibson Garage Las Vegas will take experiential retail, artist culture and music to an entirely new level."
The layout will let guests try instruments from across the showroom, including rare and collectible models, and watch Custom Shop builds up close. The centerpiece of the experience will be the first‑ever Les Paul ’59 Experience, a program that has not yet been fully described but is expected to involve hands‑on interaction with the iconic 1959 Les Paul Standard.
Robert Buchanan, vice president and general manager of the Miracle Mile Shops, welcomed the new venue: "We’re thrilled to welcome Gibson Garage Las Vegas to Miracle Mile Shops. Gibson is one of those brands that needs no introduction, and what they’re bringing to Las Vegas is more than a store."
The new Garage will sit next to Planet Hollywood and a range of boutique clothing and jewelry stores, placing it in a high‑traffic retail corridor. The Mirage Mile Shops, an indoor mall inside the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, already hosts over 170 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.
Gibson’s rapid expansion of Garage locations signals a strategic push to embed the brand in local communities and strengthen its physical retail presence. The Nashville Garage opened in 2023, the London location followed in 2024, and the Miami Garage was announced last month. The Las Vegas venue will be the largest Gibson Garage yet and the company’s boldest expression of experiential retail.
Industry observers note that the Las Vegas store will reinforce Gibson’s position as a leader in guitar manufacturing and retail. By combining a full‑line showroom with live‑performance spaces and artist‑centric experiences, Gibson is following a broader trend in the music industry toward immersive retail environments that blend commerce, performance and community.
The 2027 opening date has not yet been finalized, and details about the grand‑opening events, artist lineup and exact schedule remain to be announced. Gibson has confirmed that the store will open in 2027, but no specific month or day has been released.
In summary, Gibson’s new Garage in Las Vegas will bring a 9,000‑square‑foot, multi‑brand instrument showroom, live‑performance areas, a Murphy Lab acoustic collection, and a Les Paul ’59 Experience to the Strip’s Miracle Mile Shops. The venue will build on the brand’s recent expansion into Nashville, London and Miami and will serve as a new hub for guitar enthusiasts, musicians and visitors to experience Gibson’s legacy in an immersive retail setting.
